Tell us about your role here at ICD
As Chief of Staff, I work closely with the CEO to manage projects and prioritize initiatives across the company. I also work with the Executive and Leadership teams to help move ICD’s business initiatives forward.
What do you like about working at ICD?
One of the best things about working at ICD is that everyone is heard. Ideas are welcome, no matter what department you’re in, or what position you have. And that goes for our clients as well. Some of ICD’s greatest innovations (and there are many!) have come from client suggestions that our talented teams put into action.
What in your past experience makes you particularly good at what you do at ICD?
Oddly enough, I was a theater major in college. How did I end up in Finance? That’s a long story, but every day at ICD I use my skills as a good listener – something they teach you in theater school. Also, my prior jobs in marketing have taught me to always put ourselves in the shoes of those who will be using our innovative portal, or attending our spectacular events, or partnering with us to improve the world of treasury.
How has your career evolved at ICD?
My career has grown significantly over 14 years at ICD. I started as an executive assistant, helping with calendaring and administrative tasks. Eventually my position evolved to event coordination and marketing. As ICD grew, so did my role within the company, and today I am part of the ICD Leadership Team and work directly with the CEO on all aspects of the business, including strategic initiatives, special projects and employee engagement.
What gets you up every day to do your best here?
It’s the people of ICD that make it a pleasure to come to work every day. There are no slouches here. We help each other, we encourage each other and we all strive to be our best.
