Tom Britton joined ICD as Head of International Business in 2025, following the firm’s acquisition by Tradeweb in August 2024. Tom is responsible for the development and growth of ICD’s business outside of the US, and is a member of the ICD global leadership and strategy team. Within Tradeweb, he continues to head up the International Business management team, a role he has held since 2018.

Experience

Tom has worked for Tradeweb for over 20 years, responsible for the firm’s European and Asia business, as well as product management in the electronic fixed income and derivatives markets. Since joining Tradeweb in April 2004, he has managed both operational and product business lines, and launched new business functions, leveraging his in-depth knowledge of bond and derivatives markets across Europe, Asia and the US. Prior to Tradeweb, Tom worked at Bloomberg in the Trading System support and sales teams.

Education

Tom has a BA in Business Studies and French from the University of Portsmouth. He is also a member of the Investor Access to Regulated Bonds working group (IARB).
