Why did you join ICD?
I firmly believe in taking a collaborative approach to each project, so when I saw a position open on the ICD production support team, I knew I had to apply. I love working with a team to achieve a common goal, and my background in production support had prepared me for this role. I had seen ICD consistently listed as one of the top places to work, and I am happy to be part of such a wonderful organization.
Is there anything you’re particularly proud of that you’ve worked on?
I have a background in production support and possess working experience in well disciplined, process oriented and customer focused global projects. I’m able to effectively incorporate my skills because management is very supportive; they always acknowledge my vision and have backed me up to achieve important goals for the company.
What drives you to do your best here?
It is a sense of accomplishment, learning and helping. I have been empowered with great technical responsibility, especially in the London timezone. This makes me feel as if I can make a difference, and I always try my best to provide excellent services for our customers and to make ICD the best organization.
If you could describe ICD in three words, what would they be?
Innovative: Innovation is an important constant for companies that grow and thrive. ICD plays a big role in the modern finance industry, focusing on shaping the future of money market funds through technology and continued innovation. This can lead to bigger opportunities and higher engagement to explore quicker and more productive methods to tackle problems, harnessing creativity and talent.
Inclusive: Diversity and inclusion is a hot topic in HR and recruitment, and it’s also a key priority for plenty of companies. In an inclusive working environment, diversity is always welcomed and appreciated. ICD arrange a monthly call where we discuss different cultures, and this helps to promote a new way of thinking and allows an individual to expand their knowledge and provide fresh perspectives.
Happy: It’s not enough for employees to be satisfied—you want them to be happy at work and enjoy what they do. Success is more likely to be achieved with happy and confident employees, who will have the right attitude to create solutions and be creative. ICD emphasizes employee happiness and work-life balance within the organization.
