Describe your role at ICD?

I work with the marketing team to develop content themes and strategies that provide useful information and experiences for institutional investors active in money markets.

What did you do prior to ICD that makes you particularly good at what you do?

I’ve been in public relations my whole career, creating opportunities for management and subject matter experts to tell their corporate and product stories to various stakeholders. Understanding what makes a story and the ability to write for different audiences are at the core of content creation, which is my focus here at ICD.

Is there anything you have worked on at ICD that has been particularly gratifying?

When the pandemic hit in March 2020, our marketing team worked quickly and creatively with our fund partners, management and the media to keep clients and prospects apprised of the developments in the money markets. We shared aggregated data from our portal to keep clients and prospects plugged into investor behavior and to advocate for institutional investors’ use of money market funds in comment letters to US and European regulators. 

What do you like about working at ICD?

I like my team and enjoy working with my colleagues from other departments. Everyone is very respectful and kind as well as talented. I also like the work/life balance here. We all care about the quality of our work, so our focus is on doing well and staying well.

What would you want prospective employees to know about ICD?

It’s not often that you find a company you really connect with. For me that means a management team that is approachable and engaged with its employees. This kind of environment is not only fun to work in, but also the key to success because happy employees make happy clients.
