Can you describe your role for us?
My role as an application support engineer is to ensure that the ICD Portal application runs smoothly for our customers and for our trade desk admins alike. I work closely with the product team and with the rest of the Tech-Ops team on a wide variety of projects as needs dictate.
How do you feel about working at ICD?
It’s great – I work with an amazing community of people. The folks here at ICD are so generous with their vast depths and breadths of knowledge, as well as with their time to share that with others. I have learned so much here, and it makes it all the sweeter to be able to learn it from such a cool group!
How has your career grown or evolved at ICD?
I have gotten to learn a ton from people who are very experienced in technologies that I was not deeply familiar with, and from people with extensive knowledge about the world of finance. As my knowledge grows, it can only help my career. ICD is really good at allowing people to work on new things they’ve learned and love working on!
What would you want prospective employees to know about building a career here at ICD?
There is always something new and exciting to sink your teeth into. There are a wide variety of projects I have been able to contribute to and work on, and that is a testament to the trust between individuals across the entire organization, the capability of those individuals, and the coordinated team effort to get things done and learn a ton along the way.
